Kindergarten

Hello, I am Mrs. Bingham. I love teaching, being with children is my number one hobby. I will be teaching my 14th year and my 3rd in Kindergarten. We moved back to the valley 2 years ago from Heber City. My husband and I have six children, half that are adults attending Utah State University(Go Aggies!), and half that are at Ridgeline and Mapleview. I just became a grandma this year so I also have one sweet little grandson. I love the outdoors, especially boating with my family in the summer. We love to camp and hike. I love watching my children do all their sports playing soccer, wrestling, and track are the favorites. I also love working in the yard and outside projects, baking, cooking, sewing, music and playing piano. I am looking forward to working with all of you and your children!

Zander Andreasen

Hola, My name is Zander Andreasen, but the students call me Maestro A. I have been teaching in a dual immersion classroom for 7 years, mostly in first grade. I learned to love the Spanish language while living in Argentina for two years and enjoy getting to use it every day. I grew up in Wyoming and love the outdoors and playing any sport I can. Charlotte Abouo

1st Grade - French

My name is Charlotte Abouo, and I am a first-grade dual-immersion French teacher at Spring Creek Elementary School within the Cache County School District. With thirteen years of dedicated experience in education, I am deeply committed to fostering inclusive, learner-centered classrooms where language acquisition is celebrated as a vital bridge for cultural exchange.

My journey in education is rooted in a passion for global citizenship. After earning a Master’s degree in Spanish 26 years ago, I began my professional career in the corporate sector before transitioning to education in 2013.

Since joining the Cache County School District, I have specialized in evidence-based teaching methodologies designed to empower non-native speakers. My goal is to help students overcome linguistic and cultural barriers, ensuring that every child feels valued while gaining the tools to communicate across cultural boundaries.

Currently, I am further advancing my expertise by pursuing a Master’s in Second Language Teaching. I believe that language learning is more than just academic; it is a transformative pathway to personal growth and a deeper understanding of our diverse world. As recipient of the Teacher of the Year (2025-2026), I am honored to support my students as they embark on their journey toward becoming confident, global citizens.

Sandrine Lemonnier

2nd Grade - French

I've been teaching French DLI in 2nd grade at providence elementary school for 8 years. I lived in Paris then we moved to Nancy, North East of France. In France, I was a 1st , 2nd grade teacher, and I was also the principal ( in France you can be a teacher and a principal in the same time, schools are smaller than in US).

I have a son who is a student at USU. Zoey is my lovely dog! My husband and I love to hike in logan Canyon and kayaking.

Virginie Pechon

3rd Grade - French

I'm a 41-year-old teacher, and I just arrived in Utah last month to teach French in a DLI program for 3rd graders. I've been to the U.S. a few times before, but this is my first time working as a teacher here—what an exciting challenge! Over the past few years, I lived in Annecy, in the French Alps. I mainly taught 4th and 5th graders, so I'm really happy to be working with younger 3rd graders this year! I would describe myself as positive, reliable, and committed to building strong, trusting relationships with families. I love watching and playing all kinds of sports, and you’ll pretty much always find me listening to music. I love being outdoors, whether it’s hiking, camping, going to the ocean, or simply spending time in the garden! Geraldine Andia

2nd Grade - Spanish

I am from Lima, Peru, and I am so excited to begin my fifth year teaching third grade! I had the privilege of teaching at Heritage Elementary for the past four years, and this year I am thrilled to begin a new adventure here at Spring Creek Elementary.

I love living in Cache Valley with my family—my husband, Ricardo, and our energetic two-year-old son, Ismael. We enjoy spending time outdoors, exploring our community, and making wonderful memories together.

One of my favorite parts of teaching is bringing a little piece of Peru into my classroom. I love sharing my culture, traditions, celebrations, and experiences with my students and their families. I believe that learning about different cultures helps us appreciate one another and makes our classroom an even more welcoming and exciting place to learn.

I am honored to be part of the Spanish Dual Language Immersion program. I truly believe that learning a second language opens doors to new opportunities, friendships, and cultures. It is a joy to help students grow academically while also developing confidence, curiosity, and a love for learning.

I can't wait to meet all of my students and their families! Together we will learn, laugh, support one another, and create a classroom where everyone feels welcome and valued. I know we are going to have an amazing year filled with learning, kindness, growth, and unforgettable experiences!

Hello! I'm Mandy Gordon. I grew up in a small town between Austin and San Antonio, Texas. I love both Utah and Texas very much! My husband, Dan, and I have four children: Kara (a Sophomore at Ridgeline), Rosie (an 8th grader at Maple View), Nick (a 5th grader in the Spanish program at Spring Creek), and Maya (a 3rd grader in the Spanish program at Spring Creek). Helping children to improve their own academic skills is rewarding, but helping build good, kind citizens is what brings me the most joy. My name is Mrs. Call. I am happy I get to tell you a little bit about myself.  Some fun facts about me are that I DO NOT have a favorite color. I like to eat almost anything that is chocolate, bugs don't count. I drink Coke Zero with sugar-free vanilla, raspberry, and coconut, DAILY. If you add cream, it makes it taste even better! Annie Sorenson

I grew up in Sandy, Utah, before attending Salt Lake Community College (SLCC), where I played basketball and met my husband. Fast forward 31 years of marriage, and we’ve built a wonderful life and family together—including three awesome sons, two amazing daughters-in-law, and two crazy dogs.

I’ve always loved to travel and explore new places, which has led me to live in four different states and spend five incredible years living in Germany. For nearly six years now, we’ve been proud to call Cache Valley home. When I’m not traveling or curling up with a good book, I’m usually sharing my enthusiasm in the classroom—because I know beyond a doubt that 4th graders are hands-down the best!

Yulissa Chavez

Hi! My name is Yulissa Chavez, I grew up here in Cache Valley and went to Utah State University. This will be my 4th year teaching. I have loved being a part of the Spanish DLI program and I am excited for this upcoming year to continue to share the language and the culture with the school and students.

Miriam Coyle

5th Grade - English/French

Hi! I’m Miriam Coyle, and I’m thrilled to be teaching 5th grade DLI English at Spring Creek Elementary. This will be my 17th year in the classroom and my 2nd year in Cache County School District. I earned my degree in Elementary Education from Brigham Young University, hold an endorsement in Educational Technology, and have taught in the U.S., China, and Malaysia. My husband and I moved to Logan last year to be near our grown kids, and we were thrilled to welcome our first two grandchildren this past year!

I love bringing learning to life through technology, the arts, and hands-on projects. Helping students build confidence and stay curious is my favorite part of teaching. Outside of school, I enjoy traveling, reading, horseback riding, and all things theater. I'm so excited to be a part of the wonderful Spring Creek community!

Hello! My name is Erin Bean and I am thrilled to be teaching 5th grade at Spring Creek this year! I graduated from Utah State University (GO AGGIES!), this will be my 3rd year teaching and my 2nd year in 5th grade. I was born and raised in Moore, Oklahoma and completed my first 2 years of teaching there at my former elementary school. I attended Utah State University, and graduated with two Bachelor's degrees: Elementary Education, and Early Childhood Education. I minored in both Math, and US History. During college, I taught Art at Hillcrest Elementary as a part of the ArtsBridge Scholarship program. After graduation, I taught at Garland Elementary for 6 years, and was the after-school Art Club teacher for 5 years in partnership with the Boys & Girls Club. I am an aspiring children's book author, a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI) , and love attending writer's conferences. I am a proud military wife to my husband Keith, and I have 5 children with him. Fun fact: She has an 8 year streak in DuoLingo learning French, and her kids are enrolled in the French immersion program.

Hi Everyone! My name is Haley Williams and I will be the new Music Specialist at Spring Creek Elementary School! I grew up in Vicksburg Mississippi and later during High School moved to Logan UT. I attended Green Canyon High School the first two years it was open and loved my time there. I finished my degree in Music Education at Utah State University and there I met my husband Andrew in the Aggie Marching Band. He will be continuing his PHD in Biochemistry this Fall (after transferring from the University of Utah) and we are so excited to be back in the Valley. I can’t wait to get started and make a wonderful year of music with our students!
