Service Club
7th Grade
In 7th grade it is suggested that students earn a minimum of 15 Community Service hours.
Students will receive a certificate and candy bar when their hours are completed. You will also be in the Yearbook photo for Service Club.
8th Grade
In 8th grade it is suggested that students earn 30 Community Service hours.
Students will receive a certificate and a candy bar when their hours are completed. You will also be in the Yearbook for Service Club.
50+ Hours
In 7th or 8th grade if you reach 50+ Community Service hours.
Students will receive a T-shirt, and Special Award given by the Counseling Office at the end of year assembly.
High School Benefits
When you complete 300 service hours:
- You can letter in "Service to Community" that's right, letters aren't just for athletics.
- You will also be able to wear CORDS at graduation, this is an honor in High School.
- Colleges like to see this on applications and Scholarships are available.
